Lauren Silverman

 Lauren began her career in New York City as a professional ballet dancer, training with Joffrey Ballet and Alvin Ailey. She has a vast understanding of athletics and what it takes to achieve success as a young athlete while prioritizing health and protecting the body from injury.  Lauren earned her Doctoral degree in physical therapy from Northwestern University. She has opened and managed several physical therapy facilities in Chicagoland and now brings her expertise to Tampa. She has experience treating in outpatient and inpatient centers, as well as in Early Intervention and school-based settings, and has helped both pediatric and adult patients throughout her career. At ProFormance, Lauren specializes in sports performance, pediatric patients and neurological and orthopedic conditions across the lifespan. She is also one of few practitioners in Florida that is trained and specializes in the Schroth Method for treating idiopathic scoliosis and other pathological spinal curvatures. Lauren is excited to join the Tampa community and help improve the lives of young athletes and Physical Therapy patients to promote health, participation and enjoyment throughout life.

 Justin began his career as an athletic trainer, working with patients in both collegiate and professional sports. He earned a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from St. Louis University, with the goal of continuing to treat the athletic population of all ages. Justin was a collegiate athlete playing four years of Rugby. Justin was named one of Chicago’s Favorite Kids Docs in Chicago Parent Magazine and has been listed in Chicago Magazine as a Five Star Award recipient for top physical therapists in Chicago. He currently owns an outpatient physical therapy facility and a sports performance facility in Chicago. His impressive career includes working with the NFL, with SLU sports medicine, as well as building and managing physical therapy clinics. He continues to be passionate about treating sports related and post-surgical patients with the most comprehensive and individualized care. Justin is excited to bring his expertise to Tampa. Justin’s philosophy is to treat not only a pathology, but a total person, thus providing a more comprehensive level of physical therapy.
